Our Process
When we consider a potential project, the three most important items that need to be discussed are budget, schedule and expectiations.. Since these are the biggest factors is determining whether or not a project will become reality or not, we like to cover them right off the bat. Once we understand your expectations for the project, we can tailor a renovation plan together to fit your criteria and needs. In order to do this and further streamline our process, we ask potential clients to fill out our contact form and tell us about their project and even include photos. The more information, the better!

MAKING CONTACT
”Houston, we’ve made contact.”
During this time, we will work together to develop a timeline and a detailed scope of work based on your discovery call or the form we have. Larger projects take a good amount of time to plan which is why we usually plan months for these. Having the design and schedule planned out far before the project starts drastically helps improve workflow and efficiency and, therefore, minimizes the overall timeline. During this time we will meet and discuss the 3 pillars of compatibility for a project to be successful; Budget, schedule, & expectations. If we both feel this is a great fit, then we will move to Step 2. -
SITE VISIT
In renovation and construction, an on-location inspection of a project site serves several purposes.
Before work begins, we will assess the existing conditions, take measurements, identify potential challenges, and gather information to create accurate designs and cost estimates. We will walk through the site together to determine realistic expectations and set clear goals.
During this time, please feel free to dream and ask as many questions as possible. -
PRECONSTRUCTION
Once the site visit is done, we can work together to develop a timeline and a detailed scope of work. We will meet again a minimum of 3 times to finalize the design. During this time, we will schedule a meeting with trade partners to discuss to make clear all goals are aligned. Larger projects take a good amount of time to plan which is why we usually plan months for these. Having the design and schedule planned out far in advance of the project start drastically helps improve workflow and efficiency and therefore minimizes the overall timeline.
After the plans are finally finalized, we will submit permits according to the city’s permit and zoning laws to get the ball rolling! -
CONSTRUCTION
Now we’re getting to the good stuff. Here’s typically what will happen during this phase.Demolition & Site Preparation – Removing old structures, fixtures, or materials that need replacement while preparing the site for new work.
Structural Work – Addressing foundational repairs, framing, load-bearing walls, and any structural modifications.
Rough-In Installation – Installing or updating essential systems like plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC, and insulation.
Inspections & Approvals – Conducting necessary inspections to ensure compliance with building codes before proceeding.
Drywall & Interior Finishes – Installing drywall, flooring, and ceilings, followed by painting, cabinetry, and trim work.
Final Fixtures & Appliances – Installing lighting, plumbing fixtures, countertops, and appliances.
Final Touches & Clean-Up – Adding finishing details, conducting a final walkthrough, and ensuring everything meets quality standards before project completion.
After all of this is said and done, we will move on to our warranty/follow-up. -
WARRANTY/FOLLOW-UP
After construction or renovation is completed, the warranty and follow-up phase will begin!
We will meet for our final walkthrough and review the completed project to ensure all work is done as agreed.
We will go over our warranty for adjustments and go over the workmanship and materials.
We will also address any minor fixes, adjustments, or concerns with the workmanship or appliances.
We provide a 2-year industry standard, (1 year above the industry standard.)
This phase helps build trust, ensures long-term quality, and provides peace of mind for the homeowner. We will follow-up in 6 months, and a year after to ensure the best quality for you.
