Our Process

When we consider a potential project, the three most important items that need to be discussed are budget, timeline and design. Since these are the biggest factors is determining whether or not a project will become reality or not, we like to cover them right off the bat. Once we understand your expectations for the project, we can tailor a renovation plan together to fit your criteria and needs. In order to do this and further streamline our process, we ask potential clients to fill out our contact form and tell us about their project and even include photos. The more information, the better!

Budget

We understand that budget can be a tough topic to address. However, out of respect for time, clarity in the building process and the best finished product, we have found it most beneficial to discuss this at the very beginning. This allows us to help our clients design to a budget instead of budgeting to a design. Once we receive a little information about your project and its design, we can provide you with an approximate cost range within just a few days. If this cost range aligns with your budget, then we can proceed with design.

Design

The design of a project is the backbone. It’s not only the product that everyone will see, but more importantly, it’s a part of the home you live in. Helping create a design that not only looks great, but functions to meet the desires of the client is something that we are passionate about. The design is also the main driver of the project cost and should therefore be realistically tailored to meet the client’s budget while maximizing value. By teaming up with designers and architects and employing our own experience, we guide clients through the entire process from start to finish.

Timeline

Once a design is finalized, we can work together to develop a timeline and a detailed scope of work. Larger projects take a good amount of time to plan which is why we usually plan months in advance for these. Having the design and schedule planned out far in advance of the project start drastically helps improve workflow and efficiency and therefore minimizes the overall timeline. We work with clients to plan our work around their schedules and do our best to create as little disturbance to the home as possible.
